Do you have the Courage to be who you TRULY ARE as a Sensitive Soul?
Last week I spoke of the experience of getting ‘shut-down’ in childhood, and how we create MASKS (aka personalitites, identities) to protect ourselves from outside influences.
This week I’d like to follow on from this topic, and speak about actually REMOVING those MASKS, what is REVEALED once we do, and most importantly, having the COURAGE to do so!
Last week I provided some examples of memories that dropped into my mind whilst in a meditative state. These memories were of my childhood, of when I was being my TRUE SELF, and other times, of when I was SHUT-DOWN for being my True Self.
For the sake of today’s blog, I wanted to highlight the TRUE SELF memories, and a recent MASK-REMOVAL story, and how they have both REVEALED to me, who I TRULY AM. I also wanted to show, how you too, can use a similar reflective method, of getting to know who YOU truly are, at that Deep, Core, Soulful Level.
So as per last week, I recalled that being my True Self as a child involved things like singing, swinging, dancing, tuning into nature, and having deep conversations…
How do you get into that HIGH VIBE place?
In the last few weeks I've been stressing the importance of getting out of our heads, and into our HEARTS so that we can lift our vibration and attract the things that we TRULY want for ourselves and our lives.
I've been experimenting with this concept for myself for many years now, and having recently moved back to Melbourne, after living in Byron Bay for 8 months, I can now see how important it is to actively and consciously 'work' at lifting our vibration, especially when living amongst those 'City Vibes.'
If you've ever been to Byron Bay, and being a Sensitive Soul who is naturally in-tune with environmental energies, you would likely have noticed just how 'high vibe' the natural environment in Byron Bay and surrounds, actually is!
I noticed in myself that I did not have work as hard on being 'High Vibe' because I was surrounded by it, and enveloped by this energy on a daily basis.
If I happened to be feeling down, drained or lethargic, I'd simply get up and go for a walk/swim at the nearest beach, soak in the sun's rays, ground myself in the sand, let the sea salt cleanse my energy system, and all would instantly be well again!
